Super easy, healthy and quick – this Taco Grilled Fish instruction solely has four ingredients and is that the excellent meal for two. it's nice taco flavor and is good and smoky from being grilled on a cedar plank.
I love date night. however generally, particularly within the summer, life will get a bit crazy and date nights don’t happen as typically as i might like. thus what does one do? build your own date night at home!! our youngsters head to bed fairly early, so we will place them down then cook a dinner along and luxuriate in it whereas sitting within the back yard. generally i believe I relish that even over going out and having to modify crowds!
The Taco Grilled Fish is that the excellent meal for a date night in. Not solely is it simple and quick, however it's such a lot flavor and tastes higher than several dishes that I’ve had once we’ve gone out. The fish is absolutely seasoned with some juice and recent El Paso taco seasoning, then a sprinkle of cilantro at the top. I used a cedar plank that gave this heaps of flavor, too. i will be able to be broil on cedar planks all summer long!
Ingredients
- 2 filets firm white fish (cod, tilapia, halibut, etc), about 6 oz each
- 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon Old El Paso taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Soak a cedar plank for grilling overnight. Dry and then coat with vegetable oil.
- Heat a grill to medium heat, about 350ºF. Place the cedar plank on the grill to heat up for 5 minutes.
- While the plank is heating, squeeze the lime juice over the fish. Sprinkle on the taco seasoning, then rub into coat both filets entirely.
- Transfer the filets to the hot plank. Close the lid of the grill, keeping it at a medium heat. Keep a water bottle nearby to put out any flare ups on the plank.
- Grill until the fish flakes easily, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with the cilantro before serving.
