To make coconut milk and get husk for use

  • Follow these instructions for making coconut milk. Keep coconut husk to be used 

For Bake

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl
  2. Add sugar, and fat and mix in with fingers so that it resembles fine bread crumbs
  3. Make a well in the flour mixture and add coconut milk and mix
  4. Add grated coconut  (left over from making coconut milk) and form a soft dough
  5. Leave to sit for about 20 minutes
  6. Roll dough out and place on greased baking sheet
  7. Pierce lightly with a fork
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
