  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lb gnocchi
  • freshly grated parmesan cheese, for serving
  • shredded basil, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion and garlic and cook until the beef is cooked through, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Add in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
